(no subject)
So my laptop is officially fucked. My mom thinks it's my fault (and it may well be) and is pretty pissed about it (which is understandable; it was a $1600 laptop, and 4 years is old but not that old, right?) but my parents are going to at least pay some of the cost of a new one. I'll probably buy it from Circuit City because I get most of the money from my diagnosis back that way. I'm not a big computer gamer so I don't need anything really powerful, but I do want something that will meet all of my office/internet/media/mobility needs and hopefully have a longer lifespan than this one did, and without the constant hardware problems. Does anyone have any advice about brands, capabilities, etc.? The only thing I'm ruling out is a Macbook. No macs, noway nohow.
