What exactly did you do to piss off the scheduling gods?

Hopefully this year's TAing won't be anywhere near as bad as the last.

No idea. *facedesk* I really just don't fucking even.

Dear gods, I sure as hell hope so. Not sure I could do that again and juggle everything else. Not and stay sane.

*pets* They are cruel and capricious.

I was more than a little concerned about you by the end of the year.

Tell me about it.

*snort* Me too. I'm still not really back to 100%, but close enough for government work. At least I'm making forward progress. I spent so much time last semester feeling like I was getting nowhere that it's a relief to be *doing* something. Even if I'm still feeling worn out.

Tired is better than frustrated any day.

No argument there.

Ugh, I am not really looking forward to writing up my dissertation. Blech. That promises to be a painful experience, if my last two (albeit successful) attempts are any indication. Stupid formatting requirements. *hiss*

Something tells me that next semester may well be the most insane yet. One paper nearly ready for resubmission for publication, a second in the works in the form of experiments, two confirmed conferences, TAing, dissertation writing, and the gods only know what else. I may end up in Chicago over Thanksgiving. Maybe. That's unconfirmed as of yet.

I'm eyeing that list and it makes me wonder why in the hell I signed up for this, again...

Ugh that sounds crazy. Hopefully this time you will be able to get to see more of Chicago if you do end up going.

It would be nice. I'd certainly like to. I'm sure there's a wide selection of things to look at that I didn't get to last time. Which, given that I basically had a single day to work with, isn't too surprising.

From what I understand there is a hell of a lot to see.
