(no subject)
So not a whole lot has been going on IRL of late. Hence how I seem to have managed to go a month without updating. o.0;
It's been more of the usual grind. Classes, homework to make solutions for and grade, classes to attend, and, of course, research. There are a couple of bits of news worth writing down, though.
First: I wound up going out to Orlando last weekend, to hang out and celebrate two birthdays. (On the same day, somehow.) I was gifted a gift for mine early, in the process. I was given The Game of Things. Which seems to be like Apples to Apples only you get to write in your answer and hand it off to the reader, rather than laying down a card. I'll have to see if I can't find a big enough group of people to try it out properly sometime soon. It requires four or more. My gifts were received with favor, and fun was had thereafter. We attempted to go to a dark sky festival in the area, but it was a massive disappointment. Bright lights all over the place and lots of noise. Not to mention that it clouded over and stayed that way. So we didn't get to see anything. I was disappointed. This was followed, the next morning, by a round of mini-golf, which I sucked at horribly, and a stop at Steak N'Shake for lunch. On the drive home, we saw random awesome dude with nice car.
