I am le tired...

Mar 30, 2006 22:52

Skipped Japanese this morning, as I was still not feeling well, and went back to bed, not getting up til about 11:00. And then decided I didn't quite dare eat breakfast. Cause I got hit by my period this morning. -_-;; So I get to deal with that headache on top of everything else. *sigh* Anyways. The point of that last sentence was to explain why I didn't go eat with the suitemate this morning. She brought me back a bagel, though. ♥ After putting up with and taking care of me these last 24 hours, she gets a big hug, and pretty much anything she wants that is in my power to give her.

Not long after I finished snacking on that, and marveling that it didn't try to make a reappearance, I got a call from Scott inviting me to lunch. Which I accepted, cause I hadn't been able to keep down more than that bagel for way too long a stretch of time. I'm not entirely sure how long, but I think it was approaching 24 hours, at that point. So I went and ate. And the food sucked monkey balls. Again.

Afterwards, I came back here and studied for a bit. Then ran into Randy briefly as I walked to my 14:00. The first words out of his mouth? 'Where were you last night?' (referring to fencing practice, cause I almost NEVER miss that). So he got a pretty abbreviated version of the story of last night, and then we parted ways. That came close to giving me a case of warm fuzzies.

I tried to study a bit more in my 14:00 class, and after a while ended up just staring at the page... at which point the prof decided to notice that I wasn't focusing, and repremand me. Not that it did more than bounce off the surface of my semi-daze. I was pretty spaced out, and hurting.

From there I sort of dove into the Physiology exam headfirst, as it were. I ended up guessing on about a quarter of the questions, but less than half of my guesses were Shit-I-have-NFC!guesses. Which I took to be a good sign. It gave me a little hope that I might have done decently.

I finished and left around 16:30, needing to get the hell out of Boggs for a bit, and came back here to read.

At 17:30, I was back in Boggs, again, waiting for my Physiology lecture to start. (Yes, we have the class immediately after the exam period. Whatever genius came up with that idea needs to be shot. Repeatedly.) It was fairly hard to sit through, given that the coughing fits had started back up again with a vengeance. -_-;;; Once the first hour was over, we got our 10-minute pity-break, as usual, and I just zoned out for most of it.

Just after class started up again, my phone rings. My first reaction was 'Wtf, who's calling me?' Once I saw it was Randy, I gave in and left the room to answer. *snort* As I called him back, he was leaving me a voicemail. Eventually, though, he picked up, and, on finding out that I was in class, told me to 'nevermind'. *eyeroll* After class, I listened to the voicemail, and it turned out he'd wanted to offer to fence with me, to try and cheer me up and practice at the same time. Now I had warm fuzzies. ♥ Just... ♥.

After class I called him back, to let him know I wanted food. And was promptly amused by the fact that he called it 'supper.' *grin* I know it's silly of me, but whenever anyone calls dinner 'supper' my knee-jerk reaction is OMGsoSouthern!Cute! .... ^^;;;; Not that I don't get that reaction fairly often when it comes to Randy, anyways, being as he's from Augusta, GA. But that's beside the point.

After eating - the food was horrible again, so I was really disappointed - I swung by his room to just hang out, since I wasn't feeling up to fencing him, and he wasn't there. I called him to let him know, and offered to chill with him during his desk shift, but he didn't pick up, and never called me back, so I'm wondering whether he forgot his phone in his room, or something.

Ah well. *shrug*

By that time it was about 20:30, so I gave in and sat down to do some homework. I started with the Japanese homework, as it seemed likely to be the easiest. And i was right. I got through all of it, despite having missed class.

Around 21:30, I got a call from Dave, to the effect of "I haven't seen you all day, it's weird. I'm coming by your room to bring you sushi. Be there in a few." The warm fuzzies about doubled, right then. And once he got here, it turned out that Hunter was with him. And was relatively upset that I had been at neither Japanese nor breakfast. *bemused* He can be so unintentionally adorable, at times, in his wholeheartedness.

So then the two of them got to hear about last night, having asked. And I got hugs from both of them. *purr* And the sushi was good.

Dave somehow managed to discover a random seam in my carpet and peel up a nice big chunk of it, just by standing on it as he leaned on my bed. ^^;;;;; He was rather adorably confused by it, too. Especially when the seam disappeared completely after he'd pushed the section of carpet back into place. I was just amused. *snort* Just... wow.

After a few minutes' worth of small talk, the two of them left - to bring Murray the two pieces of sushi I had been forbidden to eat, and then Dave to go to Peters and smoke.

I polished off the Japanese homework after they left, and then started the physiology homework. (Of which there are three due next Tuesday. -_-;; *grumble*) After the first question on the first homework, I gave up... and started typing this.

And now, I believe I will try calling Randy one more time, and possibly going to say hi, if he's working a desk someplace close by.

dave, classes
