iTunes 8 Questions

OK, iTunes has started to prompt me to download iTunes 8. Before I do, a few questions:

• Has anyone out there downloaded iTunes 8 to an XP machine? Any problems?
  
  
• Does iTunes 8 "convert" the database?
  
  
• What is the overall impression of iTunes 8? Worth upgrading?

I'm thinking I'll wait at least a week more before upgrading it.

I love it for the Genius feature. I haven't upgraded since 7.1 but this pushed me to :) As far as I can tell nothing happens to your previous database... I'm on a Mac tho

I have XP and downloaded it. No real problems other than the genius feature seems to be a bit slow on connecting to the recommended songs. I kind of like the genius feature just because I'm always up for suggestions on new music, but I haven't used it enough to know if it actually makes good recommendations or not.

I heard today there were some bugs, but I don't know what they are. (It was a conversation I overheard, and I didn't want to butt in and ask for details.) Waiting a week to see if they come out with an updated version (sans bugs, or at least some of them) might be a good idea.

I have no idea on you database questions.
