On your last post regarding the Ahmanson, I noticed several of the shows I wanted to see. After consulting with the boss, I called in on Friday to order season tickets. And waited. And waited. And waited.

I literally waited 25 minutes -- there is a call timer on my phone -- before I spoke to a harried CSR. Seems the tickets to Jersey Boys just went on sale, plus all the people trying to renew or order season tickets had them hopping all over the place.

Anyway, our name is in for the tickets, and Jen and M-I-L will also be seeing "My Fair Lady".

But I'm still blaming you. May you have a longer time on hold than I.

Well, we just bought tickets for Jersey Boys ourselves, after learning that HotTix will likely be day-of-show only. So we're in the balcony on 7/15. I bought them over the internet, so I didn't have to wait on the phone.

As for season tickets: I plan to order those by mail in mid-April. We'll be going for balcony on a Sunday matinee. We'll probably be getting a group of 5, as we'll be going with ixixlix and her son.

L5Y is one of my favorite shows, staged right, it's an amazing theatrical experience. LOVED Daniel and Misty at Pasadena Playhouse, and I think besides the amazing performances of the two, the direction by Nick made the show SO much more incredible there. I do admit that the venue was a little big for an intimate show like that, but I loved it. I also saw Julia Murney and Jason Robert Brown perform the show at Reprise and though I think they were wonderful, I preferred the PP production - just my opinion...
