ok i need your help people. heres the situation. im suposta start school a week this friday at the art institue of ft. lauderdale were ill be talking digital media production. which is a mix of filmmaking, webdesign and dvd making. but anyways i was offered a seat at the full sail school of film , by the head of admissions who called my house, cause he had heard i got 8th place at a photo comp i was at last week in kansas city, mo. now if i would go to ai ft. laud. i would be ther for 4 years. if i go to full sail ill be ther one year and get the same degree. except one catch i go to school 40 hours a week at full sail where it would be about half at A.I.F.L. and if i go to full sail im am guarenteed a job while or after graduation with a top film company such as sony, disney, or universal. now the fact is that i have everything done for ft. lauderdale i mean im supposta be ther in one week today. but going to full sail means ill be done in 3 less years, ill get a degree in film , not digital media, and film is what i really want. it will cost about half of what it will at ft. laud. the only problem is my dad is pissed off that i wanna change at last minute. but my grandma has a friend whos son went there and said its like no other film school. the list goes on and on why it would make sense for me to go to full sail, but my parents have already started sending money for school to ft. lauderdale. i dont think im being selfish to want to go to the number one school in america for film but yeah my parents already invested a ton of time and money in to ft. lauderdale and yeah i do wanna live in ft. lauderdale/ miami area but i dont know what to do. i mean if i was to go to orlando i would end up moving to miami or ft. lauderdale anyways but i would already be there. another thing is full sail dont offer dorms so i would need an apartment right away. which my parents arent to hyped on. im really stuck here and dont know what to do.
