meh. I think I have to agree with Rekha on this one. Some decent movies do come out of the US and it would be a shame to miss them. I mean, most of the shitty ones are just so obviously shitty that it's easy to tell them apart from the good/potentially good ones.

Besides, saying you only watch foreign films sounds so stuck up. It's like bragging about not owning a TV just to seem smarter than everyone else.

not only that but so many foriegn films that get played are shmaltzy melodramas that are no better than their US counterparts.

however i applaud the effort.

i was also going to mention the snob factor, but, i don't think he's really into film.

i said, 'you missed coffee and cigarettes! is it weird that that was the first us film i thought of that was good to watch??
