(no subject)
ALSO we bought tickets for FIVE Cubs games today, at cost... three in April, when Uncle Assface and I are going to see a whole series and also get a Carlos Zambrano No-Hitter statue, and two games in September, one hopefully with the gays, both with pretty much awesome seats.
ALSO I am seeing freaking DEAD PREZ in three days. I don't think you guys understand. This has been near the top of my list of concerts-to-see for YEARS. I am SO FREAKING STOKED I can't even think about work or school or anything else. Just Dead Prez. I am going with Uncle Assface, and then we are going to the AfterParty AND then home to watch the Top Chef Finale. I am super excited about all of these things. I bought a fancy dress today and (shh, don't tell anyone) I think I'm even going to curl the damn hair--I did a practice run tonight and it looked medium-OK, which hopefully means that the real thing could even look decent-good-ish. I'M JUST SO THRILLED. DEAD PREZ. REVOLUTIONARY BUT GANGSTA. PEOPLE'S ARMY. DEAD FREAKING PREZ!
I may also be mentally exaggerating my excitement about this because I am more than a little sad that I have to miss Ladysmith Black Mambazo to go to my class. But I am not thinking about that right now. DEAD PREZ.
And also MAYA freaking ANGELOU. Same week. Oh my god.
