murdering ants
Today I went to have a york (BAD! BAD! I know!) and I saw a bunch of ants crawling around my food supply. I figure it's the york package because do ants really enjoy apples and dry crackers? Since Lauren moved out, I guess she took out the ant sticks she put around the room (UOP has an ant problem) but I noticed she left the Raid package. So I was looking over the package and OMG Raid is horrible and cruel! I will write exactly what's written on the package:
"Ants are attracted to the bait in Raid Double Control Ant Baits. The food is carried back to the nest...TO DESTROY THE TENTIRE COLONY."
"1) Ants crawl in to eat. 2) Crawl away to die."
That's the back of the box. On the front:
"Kills The Colony and Keeps Killing for Up to 3 Months!"
Raid is evil!!! I thought it was like a mouse trap or something where the ants crawl in, die, and you throw them out. But having the ants carry poison back to the colony? I dunno...and just the way they word the objectives on the box is kinda scary. I like how they have "destroy the entire colony" in caps. I don't know if I feel comfortable using Raid anymore.
