[the screen is stable - it appears to be sitting on something, showing what looks to be a rather sparse apartment, but there is no one in sight.]

[a face appears on the screen. Usagi looks a little down, as though she's unhappy.]
Well, I found clothes. It was really weird to find my school's uniform in this strange place - and in my size, too! But I'm glad I did. I found some food, as well. What I really want to know is who is writing these bizarre messages all over the place. I keep seeing them whenever I'm out exploring and they are starting to give me the creeps.
As much as I want to go home, I feel like I'm needed here. Maybe that's why I'm here, after all.
Besides, there isn't anything left for me at home.
[she looks down at her hand, where a heart-shaped ring sparkles in the faint light]
They're all dead. I know that - I saw it. She destroyed them. And everyone here seems to think that we're not dead, which means that they're never going to arrive.
I'm on my own. I have to learn to live that way.
I'm going to go out soon and try a little experiment on those bars. If anyone wants to join me, I'll be behind the apartments in the scholar district.
