I have an Eevee that likes to fight well... everything. A Charmander, a Chikorita who really likes to hug people and be hugged, a Piplup who's affectionate but also not really that interested in battling, and Pidgey who likes to sit on my shoulder.
I don't really know the Happiny or Diftloom I recently got that well yet though. Maybe those two will stay still a little easier than most of my others.
I know they understand us to some level, even if they can't talk back. Maybe you can try asking them to sit still? When I ask my pokemon to do things, I just talk to them, even when they were newly hatched.
You said you tried taking pictures of them? I bought my friend a camera, but he hasn't tried taking pictures of pokemon yet. Do they seem okay with it?
[Here's Hikari, looking over at the pokégear and seeing the drawing of
Togekiss and Piplup.]
How long did it take you to get so good at drawing?

[Try drawing non-stop for almost two years.]

I haven't thought about it since these are just for practice. I want to see how well I could do them.

I've tried taking a couple of pictures... but then gave up. Most of mine won't stay still long enough for me to get good pictures.

Maybe you can find something that will catch their attention and make them stand still?

And that's probably going to be a bit difficult. Six of them are still babies, it's hard to get most of them to focus on anything.

While they don't seem to be upset about it, most of the time whenever I have a good shot they wander off or move.
