[ the communicator clicks on to the video function, showing the owner of the communicator who seems oblivious to the camera rolling. He’s barefoot, and sitting on top of the old slide in the park, with a kiseru in hand (still lit) ]
Did I fall asleep while waiting for Doumeki to bring the whisky? I hope I haven’t dropped the kiseru again. It would be a shame to harm the pipe.
[ he looks around the park, eyeing his surroundings ]
It doesn’t feel like a dream. But it doesn’t feel like Japan either… And I don’t remember going outside….
[ he notices the communicator on the ground. Watanuki jumps off the slide and lightly lands on the ground as he picks up the communicator. He looks at it curiously, and presses a few button, changing it to text function ]
So this is like a cell phone. I don’t really like using cell phones, but I guess it can’t be helped. I don’t think there’s any service, but it did say “Use This”.
Now, if anyone could be so kind to tell me where this is, it would be very helpful.
