Job Ideas/Connections?
For those of you that didn't already know, I was among the 28 poor souls the Bicycle Casino laid off at the end of June.
No similar jobs (hosting/building a smallish Omaha game) anywhere so I'm looking down other avenues.
Before most of you knew me, I was a stringer for the Los Angeles Herald Examiner, doing concert reviews, interviews, and the occasional game-related story.
I also feel that my experiences promoting "my" game at The Bike gives me plenty of background to do something constructive when legal online poker starts growing again in the near (!) future.
Customer service and game monitoring come to mind but I'm open for suggestions.
