That's what I write when I am trying to sound like a fishy.. Odd I know it's just how I roll..
The week has been fairly uneventful.
Work is still slow. Except for the midnight release of Breaking Dawn, which now gives me a new prespective on hating Teen-Romance-Vampire-Werewolf novels ::twitch::. That was insane.
Oh and Sunday T, C, and W showed up at work and made my day!::HUGS:: It was great to see you guys!(fyi. I have the dvds, we need to schedule a meet up so that I may return them)
Didn't go out much this week, trying to save up money for buying books when classes start. I have spent most of this week shuttling back and forth to UNF, and I have everything ready except my immunizations records which are taking an horrendously long time to extract from my old peditrician. After I turn those in I can start registering for classes. Took a HORRIBLE id picture because I had to run around half the campus to find the office hidden down a obscure hallway that everyone should know about, so I show up sweating and winded and in a general dishevel from being looped from building to building getting everything I need done, only to have the VERY peppy sorority girl go "Sit there.::click:: All done. Have you thought of rushing this semester? Think Kappa Delta!::insert gang/sorority hand gesture::". The only other thing I have left to get is a parking pass which is turning into the quest for the holy grail(with far less MontyPython-esic humor).
Had the neiborhood block party this week which for some ungodly reason I agreed to help my mother set up. It was hot and lasted to long but the food was free, and kevin finally managed to be off of work when it was happening. Wishing I had taken Sam up on the offer to work but I know my mother would have killed me if I had tried to back out of it the day before it happened, she's been trying to get kevin to come to this event for the past two years we've been dating. My mother has a hard time understanding people who don't enjoy large social events with complete strangers, and demands people show up and enjoy themselves or else.
Also watched a bunch of movies this week, including Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Constantine. Hedwig was amazing. Period. Constantine was good as a comic book movie, even though I never read the Hellraiser series so I guess it was just a good action Good vs. Evil vs. Son of Satan vs. Well dressed people vs. Ironically named individuals vs. Psychics movie.
That was it this week.. except for a very strange dream I had at kevin's house Monday in which I thought I was semi-awake and listening to a conversation between kevin, his mom, and his dad. Except when I talked to kevin about it kevin told me the very relevant fact that his father was at work and couldn't possibly have said anything I thought I heard. Made me have a WTF moment.
That is all. hoping next week will be more interesting..
Peace from the Puji
