I spread myself to thin(insert inappropriate pun)
Another busy week, I should really cut that out..
Work is. Hearing that since magazine and discount card precentages have been so low we are hiring 10 new people as a form of "friendly competition" (one new peson for every currently not quitting employee, and yes that means all of our managers are at risk right now too::even our GM::). It seems sort of stupid, two people have already quit so far, but there is also the rumor that if business doesn't pick up our store will be shut down and a new one down the street will be opened up to take our place. I don't know how I feel right now, I'm not a competitive person but I seem to be able to manage to sell discount cards semidecently, it just seems like a dick thing for BAM to do. Plus they are already cutting hours for everyone like crazy. I'm still working 4 days a week but an hour later than normal, ::shrugs:: I was complaining on how we were understaffed to begin with.
But I have been having an awesome time hanging out with coworkers after work(even with creepy geek stalkers). Went to go see The Dark Knight friday night.. it is pure awesome. I would try to describe it more but that would insult how great the film is. EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SEE IT!
Went to Metrocon on Sasturday went 36 hours without sleeping, and drove home to go to work sunday afternoon.
Sorry this blog is going to be short but I really don't feel like writing right now. Afew other things happened but I'm not sure, confused? we all are.
