Prompt: "Lovers"
Word Count: 99
Characters: Tony, Gibbs
Spoilers: None
The word is too strong.
Gibbs refuses to use it. Tony figures he shouldn’t either.
They hardly say each others first names so tagging the word ‘lover’ to either one of them seems like a cop out.
Besides, their relationship is far from regular. Words don’t come easy.
Action on the other hand is something Tony’s familiar with. Gibbs too. They’re good with action. And since getting physical hardly requires communication; understanding what they have isn’t really necessary.
It’s also pretty sappy and cliché, and Tony’s pretty sure he’d lose respect for the man if he ever used it. Maybe.
