Meme-ish: TV Series Title Mashups.

May 14, 2016 13:50

I haven't seen many of these series' and am not up to date on watching some others, but my brain got stuck on random while waiting for the laundry and kept mashing together TV Show titles. In case anyone else might find this amusing, I figured I'd post it.

Concept: Take two or more TV Series (or movie, or book...) titles and combine them. Describe the resulting combined series briefly.

TV Series Title Mashups

Code Black + Orphan Black = Code Orphan Black:
The busiest emergency room in the US is staffed entirely by clones who aren't aware they are clones.

Flash + Flashpoint = FlashFlashpoint:
A police tactical squad in Toronto has a CSI teammate that runs really fast.

Murdoch Mysteries + Mysteries of Laura = Murdoch Mysteries of Laura:
Thanks to handwavey time travel, a Victorian detective who relies on scientific knowledge and a modern homicide detective who balances her job with her life as a single mother of twin boys solve crimes together (and discuss each others' opinions on social roles in depth I'm sure).

X-Factor + X Company = X-Factor Company:
In WWII spies are selected and trained in a secret allied camp in Ontario, Canada, but the recruitment process is very very public.

X-Files + X Company = X-Files Company:
Still WWII, still secret Ontario spy training camp, but this time, they're being trained to spy on an extremely different sort of enemy power (which may or may not actually exist, or just be a giant conspiracy).

DC Legends of Tomorrow + Tomorrow People = DC Legends of Tomorrow People:
A time travelling renegade recruits a team of young psychics to help stop an immortal psychopath. This complicates his life far more than he ever thought possible.

Limitless + = Limitless Scorpion:
Take one team of social misfits with an average IQ around 170, add a pill that unlocks the full capacity of the human mind (or something like that). Stand way the hell back.

And two TV Series/upcoming Movie mashup.

Doctor Strange + Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell = Dr. Strange and Mr Norrell:
Magic returns to Napoleonic England in a big hurry and a red cloak.

Doctor Who + Doctor Strange = Doctor Strange Who?:
Regardless of whether they're working with each other or against each other, the multiverse will NEVER EVER be the same again.

Feel free to post your own below, or turn it into a mashup meme on your own journal/tumblr.
