HA! This was awesome. I don't think I stopped laughing while reading this after the punch buggy incident. :p It's a fun story, thanks for sharing it.

LOL!! Love Castiel going between the cars and playing along with the jokes. This line If this is some of the last time we all spend together, being goofballs and making each other laugh is a far cry from being a waste of that time. made me remember how this trip turns out. Now I miss Ellen and Jo all over again.

Yeah, I know. I tried not to make it too overt, but I couldn't do this without having some sense of what was to come.

Aw. I love it. Castiel hopping from car to car, going along with the silly human rituals, is just adorable.

How better to learn about humans than to study the silly pointless things we do to keep ourselves entertained. ;-D

That was both hilarious and bittersweet at the same time, knowing, as we do, what happens in Carthage. I really liked how you reflected what the show's doing with Dean here too - gradually becoming more of a "responsible leader", something like Future!Dean in The End, but hopefully not quite as far gone. It's good that he reminds himself of the importance of laughter to break the tension before a battle. I think Future!Dean had forgotten.

As for the Harvelles sending Castiel backwards and forwards between the two cars? Well how fantastic would that have been in the episode??!!

Thank you! I was hoping that would come across! \o/

Except for needing a dedicated cleared stretch of road, it wouldn't be to expensive to shoot either. All camera angles and the way the scene is cut, etc. :-)
