Two more comment-fic entries from that 5.08-related meme. One's micro-sized and pointless, one's short and confusing, both are conversation only, re-posting here because I'm a pack-rat like that.

A/N: I've never seen the parade in question, details are from Wikipedia and the NBC site and I have no idea who either if the hosts are. I researched and wrote this while doing a bank reconciliation at work, so it's a scrambled mess. And this was not what I meant a while back when I was talking about parades vs. Winchesters.

"This balloon is over 60 feet tall, the tallest balloon in the history of the parade!"
"Entirely appropriate too! Here's a shot from our Tower-cam. Look at the detail on that face!"
"He actually looks like he's brooding, that's fantastic! The hair is realistically floppy as well, how do they do that?"
"Well, Meredith, I've been told that the hair is in fact a seperate balloon section which was only partially inflated to achieve this effect."
"Fantastic! Oh look, here comes Santa!"
"Son of a *bleep*!"
"Whoopsie!"
"Oooh dear, looks like Santa's not feeling all that jolly. Ha ha. We've got the delay running so that outburst won't burn any little watcher's ears."
"Thank goodness for the delay!"
"I think, yes, one of Santa's Little Helpers is having a bit of a chat with the jolly old elf. We've turned the sound pick up off there, yes? Good."
"My, what an active little chat they're having!"
"Santa's little helper appears to be pointing at the Sam Winchester balloon a lot. Or perhaps the sky, hard to tell which. That balloon is ginormous!"
"It looks like things are calming down... Yes, Santa's helper has disappeared into the back of the sleigh-"

"Yes, must have. And now Santa is waving cheerily!"
