Okay, you're millions of episodes further on, but having just seen 4.09 and read your post on it, here's my response.

600 seals of which any 66 breaking raise Lucifer?? Whoa! They really are screwed!

Yep, this has freaked me out. Because if they have no idea which ones of the 600 … But it has made me wonder why there weren’t 666 seals. Or maybe the 666 is the combination of the 600 and the 66. But the 66 are part of the 600, and not in addition to them.

But anyway, point is, they’re screwed!

*GLEE* POOL SHARKING! TEAM WINCHESTER POOL SHARKING FTW!!!!

I loved this. Especially the exchange of looks between the boys.

Anna Milton? As in Milton Milton? Are you kidding me!? That's fantastic! Hey tigriswolf did you catch that? :-D

I picked this up - and instantly texted yasminke.

"Sure, Dean, let's trade stories." Wow, Sam. You're being a bit of an ass.

No, massively frustrated little brother who just wants Dean to goddamn share!

Ohhh crossroads. Oh really drunk Sam.

YES!!!!!! Poor Sammy!

Ooo. He's made peace with his lord. Ooo. Ooo. Very nice touch. Massively creepy.

Yes, I instantly thought back to the conversation between Dean and Casey in Sin City and the really creepy ‘faith in Lucifer’ stuff.

Also, Dean, SAM HANE is not in Revelations the Book of Revelation unless he scrawled himself in there in crayon, but if he did, he probably drew in some jack'o'lanterns. Sigh.)

I was guessing that this was a reference to the “real” Revelations rather than what Bobby called the tourist version. *don’t think about actual biblical interpretation; don’t think about actual biblical interpretation*

Angels talk about them all the time, some think Dean will help save everything, some really don't like Sam... Dude. The angels are blogging.

Bloody angels! Why don’t they like my beloved Sammy? It’s not his fault he ended up with Azazel’s blood, and given that he’s had demon blood in him all his life he’s done pretty damn well. *wants to get on ImmortalJournal to remind angels about faith, hope and forgiveness*

Bleeding statue! That was massively cool, and unexpected. And a cheap special effect!

Does this mean that all bleeding statues actually signal the approach of demons? ‘Cos that’s scary.

Stitches and hotel first aid! Someone's been reading the faaaanfic! With extra booze to support the 'tough guy' image.

But why was Sam sewing up himself? Fanfic has the boys taking care of each other.

But seriously, she was in Hell two days, max. That's like *does painful math* 242 days, eight hours.

Maybe Lilith was able to mess more with time as well as space? So Ruby might have been in Hell for centuries.

The pump action shotgun with one hand. Ooo. That was shiny. Ooo! And the gun aimed through the door! Sam's well on his way to becoming Mystery Spot Sam. *nods*

My heart was breaking for Sam here. This is not the Sam that Dean wanted to save!

And they're off. As far as I'm concerned, Ruby is a smoke cloud wearing a corpse, as always.

Text messages:
Me: Did Sam just commit necrophilia?
Yasminke: Yeah, I think so.

"So far all you've told me about is a manipulative bitch who screwed you, played mind-games with you and did everything in the book to get you to go bad." YES EXACTLY! THANK YOU DEAN!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE CAN WE KEEP HOUSEKEEPING!RUBY!!!!! Please! Please!!!! That was the best Ruby yet! Ever! OMFG!

Yes. Absolutely yes. I loved that Ruby. And it does support the idea that something of the host’s mannerisms affect the demon, because that was a sassy Ruby!

"Guess I owe you." I owe you?? Stow that frigging noise, Dean! ... He would have pulled out on his own, because he's a Winchester

He’s the absolutely last Winchester standing, with no hope of getting his brother out of hell. I don’t think he would have pulled out on his own. I think he would have done the deliberate kamikaze thing and thus would end the whole sorry saga that started with Mary’s deal.

But anyway, point is, they’re screwed!

Totally. They had to do something like this to explain why the angels werent just camping out at one or two seals to stop Lillith from getting them all.

No, massively frustrated little brother who just wants Dean to goddamn share!

Well, yeah... I guess being caring and sensitive about it isn't the Winchester way. I also saw it as a bit of a defensive thing, though, to get Dean to shut down his line of questioning by poking a sore spot.

I was guessing that this was a reference to the “real” Revelations rather than what Bobby called the tourist version. *don’t think about actual biblical interpretation; don’t think about actual biblical interpretation*

Hee! Yeah, that way lies great pain, I think.

*wants to get on ImmortalJournal to remind angels about faith, hope and forgiveness*

I really want to know what you think of some upcoming (for you) episodes.

Does this mean that all bleeding statues actually signal the approach of demons? ‘Cos that’s scary.

I doubt it, just this one in particular had that effect this time.

But why was Sam sewing up himself? Fanfic has the boys taking care of each other.

The implication is, I think that Sam had to sew his own arm up before he reset Dean's shoulder. With a dislocated shoulder, Dean would be unlikely to be able to do stitches.

My heart was breaking for Sam here. This is not the Sam that Dean wanted to save!

That Sam's still in there. Just more of a challenge.

Did Sam just commit necrophilia?

Heh, yeah, half of fandom was yelling about it when it happened (and before, when the spoilerphiles found out)

I'm really worried! Because for me if you're bringing in angels and the probability of God then there should be more faith, hope, love and forgiveness - those being mandatory when God's involved. But Show seems to be going in the opposite direction - there was more light around when there were just demons and Sam's tiny sliver of hope in something more.

I struggle with the Zen of Kripke. I don't know how I'm going to get through this season. But I'm looking forward to reading your episode posts as I get to see the episodes.
