My my what a whirlwind of a life do we all live, huh?
I'm at Ars, babysitting the building and thought what a darling little thing it would be to update my live journal. Writing here of course brings back so many memories, the good, bad, the forgettable AND the unforgettable. It's kind of sick to think that some of us have "grown up" on LJ. Obviously "grown up" is a bit dramatic pf a term and obviously I DIDN'T grow up on here - but this journal does capture snapshots. Paragraphs, links, haikus of my growing up.
In a sense, LJ was a precursor to the social networking that Facebook provides. Remember when essentially the ENTIRE Advanced Acting class of 2001-2002 at Pentucket signed up over the course of a few weeks? That extended too to other people that were part of the "theatre group" (god I hate using that term, but you know it's true!). I suppose that was the hey day - for me anyway. I of course still use this, but much more infrequently and for different reasons. When I come on here and write it's more for the novelty... to have SOMETHING on here, to have SOMETHING kind of current. If I don't update then this doesn't REALLY exist anymore - it feels like "throwing in the towel" or something.
And I ain't throwing ANY towels in.
Not just yet anyway.
In the meantime live journal, you know where to find me. With the rest of the masses on Facebook... will the book see the same fate as Caffiend?
Time will tell.
loves you lots.
