(no subject)
well it has been rather long without a word, but I assure you, much has happened w/ should hopefully explain the lapse in time w/ out my conversing.
things have been well and continue to be well. as always I remain in shock at the passing of time...sadly, I think I say that exact same thing everytime I write in here.
time's continual drive foward is something I frequently make light of. both to and for myself, but to and for other people too.
what pressure huh? what a weight to think about. the continuation of time which brings change, rebirth, and change in a seemingly endless cycle.
politically, things seem to be taking a turn for the worse. every day. for the last 5 years. I remain forever hopeful that this just means 3 more years of the powers that be, followed by an eternity of people running our world w/ new, more just, and less biased perspectives and ideas.
and even if this turns into more than 3 years, shit will continue to hit the fan with our current administration and there will be nothing left to do, but change...we will run out of oil, we will HAVE to adopt different energy habits and mentalities. the war will never end, hopefully, this revelation will convince those powers to get the fuck out of there. crisis's (or is it crises'?, I don't know) will occur and almost occur, forcing change in lifestyles in things from the amt of water we use in our daily lives to the amt of money our gov't spends to educate the american public. <--maybe creating the better world of tomorrow really IS putting focus and care into the education of the future generations that will eventually replace these crazy, ego maniacs (I refer to both Republicans AND Dems) that are running things now.
apologies for this turning into, "Our gov't sucks," but if this offends you, look on the bright side...w/ this super cool national security act, there is always the possibility that this entry will be located by "someone," whom in turn could make me disappear. I wish I could say I was lying...but check out the 2/3/06 episode of the Randi Rhodes show on Air America Radio...I'm almost positive that you can download it for free from somewere, be it their website or the apple music store as a podcast...though be warned, that at time, Randi can be just as crazy as the Fox News stations of the world, but at least she's on the other side.
