Karaoke Madness
Wow. Today was pretty loud. First off, the day started with my brother and I heading over to LA to take care of some of his business (bills and paperwork, etc). After getting through with that all, we went to his house in LA and jammed. I got to practice my drumming skills a bit there. And I got to jam on the bass too. It was weird when we went in, because I found a large amount of weed on the table, and this was a WHOLE bunch of weed. Then we went to get a bite to eat at a place called Benito's. That place has got nothing on Jilberto's (aka Best God-freakin-damn nachos and chimichangas anywhere). And then we went through about an hour and a half of traffic back to DB, where I had to leave swiftly to karaoke! We go pick up Alex and Eric and head over to get some dinner at some Korean BBQ Buffet place. Pricey as hell, but moderately filling. Wouldn't suggest it for a casual meal with friends, but we did end up having really philosophical talks. Then the karaoke commenced. We had to wait around for all these people to show up, but finally everyone came. We all sang our hearts out, and it was terrific. The best part was after karaoke, when everyone left, and it was just Alex, Eric, and me. Eric was hungry for some Jack-in-the-box tacos, so we walked over to the Drive-thru place and tried to order, but they wouldn't take our order. So we had to resort to asking some kids to buy us our tacos. Luckily, we found kids from our high school in the drive-thru. So we finally got our tacos, but I wanted a drink and some hot sauce. So I walked over to the window (which is what we should have done in the first place) and ordered a drink. To end the night, we were given rides by Alex's mom (pretty sad), and now I have to relieve myself of bodily wastes.
