That's good news. And I must say that I'm kind of jealous of Molly...none of my problems have been so bad (or acknowledged when they should have been)as to condemn me to seven weeks of horsies and surfing. I only hope that she realizes how lucky she is (in more ways than just equinally).
Thank you. This program has really been an amazing opportunity for her. It's really provided her with situations where she can be a leader, a successful team player, and someone she likes. I am probably going to be able to attend her sort of "graduation" between the program and the school, which is super exciting for me! And for her, I think, which is even more exciting.
Hope she made it.angela_e_burnsDecember 28 2009, 23:56:58 UTC
A lot of kids have died in wilderness program. They are not that organized. I hope she made it.
Generally the boarding schools owned by these companies are only holding places for teenagers. They cannot cure anything but use the fact that once a teenager turns into an adult the problems fix themselves regardless if the teenager has been in a program or not. It is just a waiting room.
Once Molly return she will suffer from other problems. Because she has been sheltered from the world in an rather intense environment, she will like most former students from such school suffer from some kind of PTSD.
If you as relative dont take this seriously, she can risk depression and death.
