(no subject)
So I got back from the BR semi a little bit ago. It was surprisingly fun! I haven't been to any dances at all this year, and they definitely seem to have improved. For the most part, I had a good time, although it would have been nice to have a date. Ah well. All in all, the dance kicked ass! They played "Get Tipsy," "Get Low," "Gold Digger" which we all grooved too. Lesley, Steph, Rachel, Carrie, Becca, Linda , Darcy , Katie, Jen, Andy, Greg, Ben, Natalia, Marco, and many others were there, so it was a good crowd! Anyway, after dancing the night away , I went to the Daily Grind(or the "Better Bean," as it is now called), and had some iced coffee and talked for a little while. I then I came back here and watched some of Sex and the City! Not a bad night. This is turning out to be a pretty busy weekend ahead of me... tomorrow I have a dance lesson from 10-12 and a voice lesson from 1:30-2:30. Then, I may see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire around 3:00 or so (anyone interested in coming? Let me know!), and in addition, I've got a crapload of work to do, which I will probably have to do all on Sunday. Blech! Busy busy weekend! However, I did at least make a dent in my college applications, which should make it slightly less hectic. I have my applications for B.U. and Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute signed, sealed, and delivered! Yeah, I know RPI seems like a random school choice for me, but hey! They're a decent school, they solicited me, and they'll let me know in 21 days! Plus the girl to guy ratios aren't bad (75% male. hehe.) I thought, why the hell not? So I applied. OK.
