Summertime...and the livin' is...eaasyyy

(_8^(|) WHOO HOO!!!! SUMMER!!!!! The time where you can stay up half the night and sleep in late. The time when you can sit on your ass and do nothing. Isn't this a great time of the year? Well, it is for the most part. The bad part is that cops are out a lot. I found that out the hard way. I was coming home from celebrating a whole bunch of my friends graduating @ The Pool Loft in New Lenox for those who live by me. I was running late and saw an open stretch of road close to my house. Unfortunately, a cop saw me lick my chops @ this. I was doing 75 when he clocked me and pulled me over. The speed limit on the road is 35...Not good for me. I have a mandatory court date July 9th. In a bittersweet chain of events, that day is also the same day that the new Red Hot Chili Peppers CD comes out. Hopefully I'll be able to keep my license. We can only hope...
Also, I have had a very BORING first week and a half of summer. Other than getting out w/ friends to do the usual stuff (playing pool, bowling, mall, swimming, etc.), nobody's been home and I've been left at home to sit on my ass watching TV or talking online. I would have a job right now, but corporate America blows. They are looking for people with "job experience" but won't give anyone with no experience the hands-on experience anywhere. Grrr....this sucks. Also, for all of you who don't know, Katie broke up w/ me on June 4th, the same day that we got out of school. Not only have I been bored but also kinda nursing a broken heart. It's all right. I'll be seeing an ex-girlfriend that I went out w/ for a whopping ten months this weekend in Rockford. Very good times there. However, things might not go as she wants. I have begun to like someone around here. If she's reading, she knows who it is. I've been talking to her a lot the past couple of days, and we've both grown to like each other. I hope that things will work out between us. Right now, I'm really hoping for a US win against Mexico in the World Cup. It should be a good game. Anyway, I am out of things to say. I'll talk to you all later. I'll have more time to update this. Now I have no excuses.
Adam
