I really enjoyed Lies when I read it (though I must say I liked most other people in the book, including the Salvaras, more than I liked Locke himself). I've yet to read the sequel (and agree that Lies works very well as a standalone) but do intend to, at some point.

Ditto, I think I'll check out the sequels once Lynch is further into the series. I heard the third one should be interesting xD
