Name: Lemon
Age: 21
Location: Canada

Favourite book: Haven't finished them all yet, but I'm really digging A Storm of Swords so far
Favourite characters: Daenerys Targaryen, Renly Baratheon, Samwell Tarly, Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Jaime Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Lady Olenna, Margaery Tyrell-- Basically anyone with sharp wit or a head on their shoulders that isn't completely daft
Favourite house: House Tyrell-- sassy arses!
Favourite ships: DrogoxDany (Moreso the book couple than the show couple, just because of how the show developed their relationship at the beginning...) and RenlyxLoras. And if it's possible to ship banter, I totally ship the banter between Jaime and Brienne
Favourite episode: Fire and Blood-- last episode. Can't beat that ending.
Favourite thing about ASOIAF? The fact that no character is safe from the chopping block, there is no true definition of what is right and what is wrong, and that classic hero is no where to be found. It's nitty, gritty, and most of all it's REAL. Fantasy, for the longest time, was too far into the fantasy world, where everything and everyone was special and there was the good and the bad and no in between. I'm happy to say that Martin, along with some other writers, are dragging fantasy into the dark.

Other interests/fandoms: I'm a Classics/History double major, so ancient and Renaissance history is a big deal to me (and I specialize in the history of sexuality and gender) and when the school year is going on I talk a lot about that. I also love Harry Potter, First Law Trilogy, Coldfire Trilogy, and Discworld. I'm also a huge video game buff, and I love watching super dramatic, award winning films my friends find boring.

I can't possibly figure out why you like that gif ;D (nice icon!)

I know, right? Their banter is just hilarious! As a couple they would just not work at all, but as that duo that constantly jabs at each other but has some weird respect, it works :D

Yes, we must! I shall add you at once!

Misfits gif! :D

I love the banter between Jaime and Brienne and ALSO between Tyrion and Bronn. They've all made me laugh multiple times.

I both love and hate that nobody in this series is safe. I love it because it makes everything so unexpected and you can never be sure where someone's going to end up... but I also want my favorites to be safe and live forever. So I'm torn.

Misfiiiits! <3

Oh man, Tyrion and Bronn. They play off of each other so well, it's amazing. They remind me of myself and a friend of mine-- constantly taking jabs at each other that sound vicious, but it's just the way we communicate!

Ugh, I know, right? One of my all time favourites was killed off early, and I was pretty heartbroken :( I've guarded my little heart since then

lol, that's basically how my closest friend and I communicate, too. We do it with love~ Sniping is so much fun as long as everyone know it's not serious business and we're just having fun. The "try to stay low" line just about killed me I laughed so hard.

Oh no, was it Ned? That part in the show actually made me tear up. Ned was never one of my absolute favorites, but I liked having him around. And now there's no more Sean Bean! :( Lady's death really got me, too, because I get inordinately attached to animals. Jory's death was horrifying, but I loathed Viserys so I pretty much cheered when he got crowned.

OH MAN! I forgot about that comment! I looooved it so much <3

Well, have you read the books all the way through? The character hasn't passed away in the series, yet. Although I was rather torn when Kal Drogo bit the dust, but I can see why it had to happen

OH MAN, HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN DROGO? His death just shattered my heart. I felt so bad for Dany, but you're right, I do think it was necessary, it was such a huge turning point for her character. Emilia did a fantastic job throughout it, though, she was amazing in that episode. But still. :( I'm a huge fan of Jason Momoa's because of Stargate and I'm sad that we won't be seeing him next season.

I finished the last book a few days ago days ago and I'm so happy that I can no longer be spoiled, lol. I hate spoilers more than anything and every major death in the series was ruined for me because I knew it was coming. :/ I'm still bitter, lol.

I think they couldn't have gotten a better actor for Drogo than Jason. He fit the bill PERFECTLY, I was honestly amazed. But Emilia did do an amazing job as kick ass Dany. In a series where there is so much bashing on women, it's nice to see a young woman command herself and others around her <3

I'm still going through Storm of Swords and loving it a lot. Especially all the Jaime chapters <3 But the character I love who bit the dust was Mr. Silk Glove. Or the peach. Happened pretty soon, too. I was like 'Oh bloody hell.' and wandered into my living room and collapsed on the couch with a pout on my face after it happened. My mom turned to me and was like 'He died, didn't he." and I could only nod xD

I know, Jason was incredible! I think his acting has improved a lot since Stargate, so it was so much fun to see him as Drogo. I loved every second of his screentime. :D

Wait, who is Mr. Silk Glove? I think I know who you're talking about but in case I'm not, I don't want to ruin anything, lol.

Also, I think we should be friends! :)

I haven't seen Stargate so I have no idea what he was like in that, but any guy who can pick up a made-up language and make it sound THAT COOL deserves props.

Oh, well I don't want people who don't know to stumble upon this comment but... uh.... Renly. I really liked his snarky little crown wearing 'I laugh at everyone and flip my gorgeous long black hair back and forth' type personality. Plus, I sort of identified with him a little bit, even though he was a relatively minor character.

I agree, I'll add you right away ;3

Stargate's my absolute favorite series of all time. :D But I love the Dothraki language. It sounds so cool and everyone put so much work into creating it and the actors all did such a good job at speaking it.

Okay, that's who I thought, because of the peach thing. XD Renly was never one of the minor characters that I got very attached to. I think he would've been a better king than Joffrey (but honestly, who wouldn't?), and I wish he'd lived so we could have seen how things would have played out in the kingdom that way. My favorite minor character is the Hound. He's such a grey area, he's done horrible things and he's done good things, but I think all of his scenes are really interesting and I always want more of him.

I heard Dothraki was a mix of German and Arabic!

Yeah, I wish Martin had kept Renly around a little longer than they did. It would have been nice to see how things played out, because it did seem like he was set to sweep the field clean. I actually am curious as to what would have happened if Ned had gone along with Renly's idea that he proposed as Robert was dying.

Hoooound! He's insane, but he's got a good heart... somewhere. Hidden down below. Sansa certainly owes her life to him

That sounds right! I feel like the sound reminded me of Arabic at some parts. I just loved listening to it, I thought it sounded so interesting.

Oh man, I wish so hard that Ned had done anything but what he did. I can't believe he told Cersei, I can't believe he didn't agree to go with Renly or Littllefinger's plans. :(
