Favourite historical period/society (if any): I love history in general but if I had to choose, it'd be 18th & 19th century Britain and Russia, medieval Russia, and Renaissance Italy. I've also developed an interest in Spanish history in general and I study 20th century Soviet Russia.

- LOTR (both the book and the movies),
- movies: Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, Good bye Lenin!, Death at a Funeral amongst others =)
- I don't really watch a lot of television anymore but my favourite TV shows are House M.D. and Babylon 5
- I read a lot of books. Like, a lot of books xD Favourite authors include JRR Tolkien, Jane Austen, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, E.M. Forster, Elizabeth Gaskell, Steve Berry, Daniel Silva, etc.

I came across Good Bye Lenin! after listening to the soundtrack by Yann Tiersen and loved it to bits. Daniel Bruhl is fantastic, he was pretty awesome in Joyeux Noel too =)

Yay for coffee! I would not be able to survive without it xD

I haven't seen Joyeux Noel yet, why, I don't know. I've always wanted to. I need to do it soon. Have you seen him in Inglourious Basterds? Awesome movie.

Hi! That's cool that The Young Victoria is your favourite drama film; it's a gorgeous movie, I cannot wait for it to hit DVD over here (talk about forever, it only came out in theatres last week or something =S).
