Favourite authors: J.R.R. Tolkien, Jane Austen, Steve Berry, just to name a few ;) Favourite books: The Lord of the Rings, Persuasion, The Alchemist, Atonement, North & South, Bridget Jones's Diary, A Room With a View, The Shadow of the Wind, just to name a few ;) Favourite genres: fantasy, classics (i.e. Austen, Gaskell, Russian lit), history (for non-fiction side =D especially if it's on Russian history) Hardcovers or softcovers?: Hardcovers last longer but alas, not rich enough to buy everything in hardcover (not to mention my bookshelf would probably die on me) so most of the books I buy are softcovers xD What are you reading at the moment?: I am currently reading Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth and Tom Rob Smith's Child 44
Other interests: reading, writing, traveling, Russian history, Ukrainian history, British history, updating my website, making web graphics, period dramas/films, anime, manga, etc. What do you usually write about in your LJ?: Random stuff that amuses me, my fandoms, books (books and more books), frazzling about school (which is almost every post), my art (when I have the time these days *tear*) Is your journal friends-only, partial or public?: Friends-Only Anything else you'd like to add?: Cannot wait until Monday the 27th when I finish my one and only exam and thereby completing my undergraduate degree---eep! xD
Ahh, that's so cool! =D Yeah, I've been specializing in Russian history during the latter half of my undergraduate program; it's only been lately that I've slowly started reading more Russian lit (so far I've only read works from Tolstoy, Turgenev, Dostoevsky and Solzhenitsyn) =D
I just read your profile below mine and that's so cool that you can speak a couple of different languages =) But yeah, sure you can add me =D Am adding you right now *thumbs up*

Have you seen the BBC version? It does the book justice, I do believe.
