Thor lays across the biofrost one hand reaching out gripping one end of Loki’s staff looking at his brother dangling above the vast expanse of the cosmos, his other hand reaching out to try and grab his brother and pull him back up.  Feelings of guilt and terror filling him as he watches Loki hanging in the air

[He doesn't comment on the dream itself. He doesn't want to - he knows it'll only develop into a conversation like the last time.]

So that's how it works.

[ Thor jolts awake at the voice looking around, shuddering a little as the dream is still fresh in his mind, but he know's that voice, he knows his brother lived, but guilt still plagues him for many of the things going on with his brother.

He collects himself and picks up the device sighing, he had been warned about filtering his dreams, but he had been so tired he had forgot too, between explaining things to Steven and meeting Margaret and Stark Sr, he had a lot on his mind, and keeping his dreams private fell to the wayside. ]

Loki...? [ Of course it was Loki he knew that voice, he felt relief but it was minimal. ] Yes that's how it works, i apologize I forgot to filter before I went to sleep.

[He pauses, wondering if he should even bother keeping up with the conversation--

Ah, well.]

[But oh, he is going to have to add something to that after all:]

Even if it did broadcast something that you would do well to stop dwelling on.

[ Thor huffs. ]

You are one to speak brother, all your current actions are because you can not let go of the past.

[Like he's going to give a straight answer...]

I can't let go of the past, you say? It's so much more than that, brother.

You know me well enough, don't you? I've given you enough reasons. Anything else and I'd be just handing the answer to you yet again. You're much too bright for that, aren't you?

I am merely weary brother, weary of our fighting, weary of what this is doing to mother.

But I know most of it comes from Father's lies, yes he made mistakes, but you aren't one of them, yes he didn't handle things the way he should have. But Loki is this the choice that will bring you happier? Bring you peace?

All of us have made mistakes Loki, this is not the way to make them better.

Happiness? [A scoff.] Stop this, and return under your shadow? That's what you want, isn't it? Though that woman changed you in some ways, I know you. You want all the glory for yourself, don't you?

Perhaps this is making me happy. To finally getting out from under your shadow - or has that thought not occurred to you?

I have never wanted you in my shadow. Nor have you ever been in my shadow. Mother and father love us equally. You did not get banished when you cut Sif's hair, nor did you get banished for any of your other tricks including letting the frost giants into Asgard, costing the life of two innocents. You did not get your powers stripped from you, and sent away from the only home you have known.

You have never been in my shadow brother, perhaps it is time you get over yourself and realize that things are not about you. That there are things in this collection of universes greater than you or I, or Asgard and they are not toys.

Get over myself? [There's a little bit of a snicker, but it's not an entirely good one.] You say that I was never in your shadow, but you were too blind to see it. The way I am "getting over myself" is doing what I'm doing. You may call it selfish; I call it a forward motion.

I'm well aware of these things in the universes, perhaps more so than you. What I choose to do with them is none of your concern.

When you are affecting people I care for, when you are bringing needless pain to people, when you are spreading darkness, it is my business.

Then I suppose it'll be interesting to see you try to stop me, hm?

Perhaps, or perhaps I would rather try and talk to you about your actions, perhaps I would like you to see, that perhaps your games here will be unwise.
