Writing about climbing is boring. I would rather go climbing.

Wonderful, thrilling, emotional experience of free climbing <3

Pics and words under the cut

Last Monday, my first and probably last experience of free climbing on a natural rock wall.
An almost unknown sport in my region, ignored, also feared. But a local organization of free climbing lovers and my school have made possibile for us to know and try this wonderful sport.
A theorical lesson, a few hours to learn using ropes and hooks, and finally a full day in a wonderful, hot, sunny location 45 minutes away from my house.

Ok, I just did five easy climbings, it was all I could do with no basic experience and physical skills. Yet, I loved it. We all loved it. Just an inconvenience: we are all leaving for university in a couple of months. We won't have chance to join Orizzonti verticali (Vertical horizons, the group that organized everything and had a HUGE patience with all of us <3) and keep on climbing...

But, who knows, never say never..

A special, huge THANKS to the teachers and their enterprise, to the trainers of Orizzonti Verticali for their availability and patience. They made this day simply perfect. And obviously thanks to mother nature, who created an ideal location for climbing: if anyone could be interested, we climbed in Frosolone (Isernia), at La Morgia Quadra.

Will I have a chance to climb in Pisa?
