Week 2 of school is over.
It's been good. It's been crazy busy. A brief recap:
Monday:
No school.
Tuesday:
Had voice, carried 1000 lbs of books around all day.
Did stuff.
Wednesday:
Composing lesson. I have a month to write a ton of music. A Ton.
Did stuff.
Thursday:
Easier day. Still somehow busy.
Did stuff.
Today:
Classes.
Copied all 1000 lbs of music.
I've been to the gym every day except Monday, and that's 'cause they were closed then. I lifted T/Th, and rowed 6,500 m on W/F. I cut 2 minutes off my time from W. 6,500m is 4.04 mi. I'm pleased w/ the exercise I'm getting.
I'm sleeping like a rock with all the exercise.
I'm still on top of my work, although the doing extra has slowed down a bit. Staying current on what's current takes precedence over getting ahead. I'm making progress in Spanish. Having gone a year and a half since my last class, and 2 years since I took 205, I'm behind all the kids that are fresh out of 205. But I've taken my homework to Dr. Holloway before class every day, and reviewed it with him. The red marks are decreasing in frequency. He says if I keep on improving at this rate, I'll be fine.
Tonight we go to El Chile Verde, to celebrate Hatfield's 21st birthday. I guess some traditions are worth continuing: that's where we went for my 21st as well. In a strange twist of happenstance, Dr. Holloway will be there tomorrow night. *shrug*
Michelle doesn't need knee surgery. That is so, incredibly, fantastically amazing.
Okay, you're updated.
Bye now.
