I don´t like hotel rooms.
Not at all. They´re so...I don´t even have a word for it.
They´re not home.
The others don´t mind. They say they´re interesting.
“Just imagine what these walls might have seen already!!”
“Wall´s can´t see!”
“I said imagine!”
They say it´s interesting to see how similar and yet different hotel rooms can be. Some just having the necessary. A bed, a table with a chair. A small bathroom and maybe a picture on the wall. And some others can be so fancy with a big bathroom and a big window next to the bathtub so you can look outside to the night sky while taking a hot bubble bath.
“Isn´t it exciting to open the door to the room you´ll live in for a day or two and you don´t know what´s ahead of you?”
“We barely spend time inside them anyway.”
“But it´s exciting nevertheless!”
I like hotel rooms just for one reason. Under certain circumstances.
Not the history of the room.
Not the excitement when you first enter it.
Not even for the room service.
I only like sleeping and staying in them because I can snuggle up to my beloved and that gives me the feeling of sleeping at home.
