2. The Heartless Giant is the best story ever. I think of Henson's Storyteller, naturally, but while The Heartless Giant is not the most artful of the episodes (that accolade goes to The Soldier and Death! followed by Sapsorrow), it is the best story. Pure. Poignant. Painful. The end, oh, the end. And then the epilogue.
Someone needs to post the complete scripts online.
That or everyone just do yourself a favor and buy the bloody dvd. Best thing you'll ever own. No lie.

If you are angsting over it and that deciding factor is money - let me know. Because this is one thing I know I can do - one thing I know will have a positive effect on humanity. I am a fucking miser, but I would give this gift to everyone if I could. Not that it's particularly moralistic or any of that bullshit - no, it is simply the finest example of storytelling I ever hope to come across, and in all of my endless analysis of everything, the one thing that never fails me is my appreciation for a good story. For these stories.
