[So Akihiko's gone back to his cabin to try to clear away some of the debris. He's got his journal on and connected to the network just in case, and it's laying on a surface out of reach. He's carrying some rather heavy parts, when he misjudges the location of some water, and slips.

Over the network comes the sound of some things falling, someone falling, and a gunshot.]
