Work updates and misc thoughts
I start my marketing job as Outside Business Sales at Sam's on Monday. I am very excited about the new challenge.
And while I was picking up a pot pie and my sweatshirt from the club today on my off day I was informed by my supervisor Angel that I was given the sweet title of Associate of the Month for January. With this title I will get 25 dollars added to my next paycheck and a certificate which will ultimately be framed and put on display for all to see at their leisure.
But in other words, as excited as I am about my new job, I was just getting used to my membership desk job and I will miss most of the people there. I still think that Darrius reminds me of a shorter/skinnier/meaner version of my former roommate Bruce. But now I will be just as good at my Sales job and that might open up doors for my future.
I am looking forward to our Super Bowl party on Sunday. And I am looking forward to the wedding and my future with Christina. My life truly is at a great point to which the future is not troublesome to me in the least. I have no fear at all right now, it is a great feeling to truly be at peace and positive spirit for the future within ones mind. And to quote Carl quoting a South Park episode, "Bat Dad knows no pain...Bat Dad knows no fear!!"
