Update
I promised a big update and most of you already have been told what it is. Indeed Christina and I are now engaged to be married. The scene was such:
The first night that we got on the ship for our cruise it was a rellatively clear day/night. I took her to the front of the boat as a "passenger" could get and as the sun hit a small sliver of clouds on the horizon I asked her to marry me. She said yes. Since I didn't have a ring (it will be completed by Friday or Saturday) I instead gave her a message in a bottle that I wrote for her 2 years ago. The poem is currently on our wedding page at theknot.com or whatever the exact name of the webpage is. So after reading it it doesn't flow as well as I would have liked it to looking at it now but the message down the side spells out Will You Marry Me. She liked it well enough.
As Christina said earlier, we will probably have an engagement type get together at our condo in a week or two to give people more time to get into town or make a trip up.
All in all we thank all of you for the congratulations and well wishes. We hope to see all of you on the 2nd of June 2007 assuming there will be no conflictions with the Brown-Dorman wedding. I am sure there won't be any majors ones though. Some updates will follow on a possible party.
P.S. work is going lovely and the condo is working out very well. Jody is a slendid roomate to have.
