So, as some of you may know, Mr. Stewart is taking an opportunity in Red Deer working for his dad. He is free of Sun Life, free of the twisted sub-reality that exists within the thrice-damned spires of the place. This, of course, frees up a Day Shift Supervisor spot. Well, I already know that it is site policy to offer any new day shift slots to night officers before day officers REGARDLESS of experience. However, I put hope into a letter informing my superiors of my desire for the position. The letter detailed many fine points that lend credence to my claim, including that I have worked nearly 3 years at the site, 2 of which have solely been on day shift, my previous supervising experience, my incredible attendance record in the last year, and everything I do for the site over and above some current supervisors. Despite my obvious ire at knowing beyond doubt that the gods of common sense would forsake me once more, I managed to keep the letter completely professional, ie. not pointing out the faults of the other potentials, such as the fact my term at Sun Life equals their two terms together, I could count on one hand the number of towers Anne has completed since she became supervisor 4 months ago; and I, obviously, didn't mention the numerous times Tanya has fucked up in the 4 months she's been supervising, or all the things she CAN'T do regardless of how often she's trained.

Anyway. So I submit my letter yesterday. Tanya, being the nosey whore that she is, rummaged through my Site Supervisor's tray last night and found out, from it, that Mr. Stewart had given his two weeks notice and that I vied for the spot. No biggie, I just can't stand that she goes through Jack's shit and doesn't get shit for it. <<
