so the surgery is scheduled for Monday (not so I could get out of going to shul, really) and they expect I'll go home on Tuesday and walk with a walker in about a month. The right leg, they say will heal by itself. i looked up the md. he's a Republican but I don't really hold that against him especially since his mother-in-law was Happy Rockefeller I'm a bit concerned that ankles aren't his specialty but joints and pins are so i guess it works out. also he's around 70 but I didn't notice any tremor. Nothing is known against him but the complaint site has 2, both about follow up. We'll see.
