Ooooooh! Wit, Physical Comedy and Almost Certain Nudity!

A year or so back, in the delightful company of Miss elle_dritch, I saw Spymonkey perform their show Moby Dick. It was beyond awesome. Comedy both physical and cerebral, extreme silliness and more than a bit naughty too. I immediately formed a massive crush on Petra Massey. Time moves on and I checked out their website today in case I might catch it again somewhere only to discover this in their news section:

We started work at the beginning of May on our new touring show for 2012, a full-bodied Greek tragedy with notes of Barbarella and Bond which we are calling OEDIPUSSY. We are delighted to be working with the brilliant director Emma Rice, known for her work with Kneehigh, writer Carl Grose, and of course Spymonkey regular Lucy Bradridge. The show will be co-produced by the Royal & Derngate Northampton to open there in February 2012, and will be touring throughout the spring.

Whaddaya think? Personally I'd be sold on that even if I hadn't already seen and loved them. So if it comes to Merseyside or Sheff anyone with me?
