Continuing my habit of linking to extremely pretty art take a look at the work of Audrey Kawasaki. Very nice, kinda Art Nouveau Manga, if such a thing can be imagined, painted in translucent oils on wood so that the grain shows.
I like the one with the octopus.
And the one with the coelocanth.
The one with the Death's Head moth is great too.
In fact they're pretty much all good.
