Milestone
Today is our 33rd anniversary. Wow! When I got married I didn't really contemplate that sort of thing. The years just glide by and suddenly I've been married for a third of a century. The last time one of these got to me was when we hit the 28th and had been married half of our lives. Time is such a weird thing.
On the other hand, I promised Steve I would duly note this to you all: This year he remembered the day and I forgot! Not only did he remember but he got me two very fine books. One is Pen and Parchment- Drawing in the MIddle Ages. The other one is The Art of Illumination-The Limbourg Brothers and the Belles Heures of Jean de France, Duc he Berry. The last is a Metropolitan Museum of Art book. So it was a nice surprise.
Now I'm going to drink my tea and pet my books. :-)
