(Because I mostly had it written and after watching the meet in early Decemeber, I'm kinda in love with Matt Grevers...)

Were you at SC Nationals? I had a great time there, put a bunch of pics on Flickr from it. Did you catch the banter/trash talk between the two of them before the 50y free? Whatever it was, it must have stoked Grevers up pretty good, with that 18.95 finish. ;)

I wasn't! For shame--I would have liked to have been. Instead I fought with the "streaming" video on swimnetwork.com. But Grevers did swim a beautiful 50free! (Though it might be a little unfair, since he could like, stand in the middle of the SC pool, stretch out his arms, and touch both walls, lol!) You going to Indy next year?

I'm going to try to make it to Indy. Would be traveling with my two little kids and they are surprisingly resistant to sitting in natatorium seats all day long for days on end. ;)

I never would have thought of a Lochte/Grevers (Ghrochte?) pairing, but you wrote this so, so well, I can easily see it. Especially over egging frat houses. ;D

I would have never thought of this pairing, but it works so well that I would definitely read more.
But I mostly like the idea of an enormously huge Matt Grevers trying to hide behind a holly bush.

!!! I love the pairing! And I really liked the story. You're an awesome storyteller, and I think I would have been perfectly happy even without the kissing at the end. Though I didn't mind it, of course, hee. ;)

Dude, I want to pinch his cheeks. And then hug him. And then... do very, very wrong things to his giant self. I mean, that's a lot of body to crawl all over. ^^

That *is* a lot of body, but look how graceful he is with it. This stretch just blew me away and I had to take a picture because when do you ever see really big men managing something like that? My friend the yoga instructor was suitably impressed.
