So I got a new pet today. I went to go look at hamsters again, hoping that one would stick out as interesting or charismatic. Instead, I noticed one of the rats. She was digging and playing around by herself in the cage. The other thing that stuck out? She was hairless.
I've always wanted a hairless cat, so this kind of appealed to me. I brought her home and have since then decided that I should go back and buy one of her sisters so that she can have a playmate and cuddle buddy. She seems very smart and energetic, even though she's thoroughly freaked out by me right now.
I haven't named her yet. I can't think of anything. She keeps making this weird sneezing noise. I hope she's not allergic to me. I'll include some pictures:
And not overlooking the dearly departed, I thought I might add a little tribute to Eddie. She would have enjoyed this new addition, I think. They could have been crazy together.
PS Any name suggestions?
