Update
Hey
Haven't posted here in ages. Pretty much only MZPers will understand what it is I'm talking about, so others might want to stop reading. Started work on my summer projects, which should be fun. Also, gearing up for next season on MZP. As both Pathways and DSR are now year-round (Fall and Summer seasons a year, 'stead of just one), I'm also working on the website updates for both.
Also, working with Brian cementing the story and outline for Pathways S3. It's coming along excellently. Can't spoil anything here, as we still have practically half the season to go, but it's gonna be great. Also, starting to learn basic HTML on my own, since I never did before and it'd open a lot of doors. Hopefully with that, I'll be able to make my own site for Oleander.
On my VS reviews LJ that I've actually had since April ( http://alden-reviews.livejournal.com/), I've started reviewing MZP Angel and Buffy continuations. I only just finished Buffy, so I've only reviewed their first episode. Also, edited the header to include Angel and Buffy instead of just Angel. Also, recently read (but did not review) the first 2 episodes of Arcadio Reyes' Between the Walls. It was good.
Progress:
9 pages into Pathways 2x14. Been blocked for weeks, just started it last night. Gonna try and get it done oon so I have rewrite time.
Outline in progress for The Company 1x07. It's a fall show, but all the episodes preceding it are finished, so I'm starting to feel like I should work on it. The outlining's fun when I feel like it. I espect the outline will pretty much be the episode, so I'm taking my time with it.
17 pages into my Jossverse movie, Oleander, with a separate 6-page scene I'm not sure I'll use. loving this project as I otuline it, and hoping it'll be as good as I hope.
Upcoming:
2 Slayer Academy co-writes with Brian. We haven't gotten the outlines (and I have yet to read most of S2), so not much is happening with these yet.
Natasha Tyreen 1x08 is outlined, but unstarted as I have to read 1x01-1x06 and get a feel for the voices. Luckily I have some time to do this one.
In Development:
Hidden Swords is still in the works. After losing most of the original cast (Ellen Pompeo is the only one not to be cut or recast), it's finally in active development for next summer. I have a basic outline, but I still have to refine it and the arcs. Should be fun.
Silent Nights is an interesting story that I haven;t 100% uncovered, soo I'm curious as to where it leas. I have a 6-episode first season planned, which is a good length for it. I'm 6 pages into the pilot, with a rough S1 outline down. hoping maybe next summer or fall for this one.
