Pauvre bebe
Okay so being a baby has to suck at some point, right?...Right.
Right now, Caelan has 3...yes, I said THREE teeth coming in at once. He's in such awful pain, running such high fevers, and he's just all around miserable. I hate to see him this way. It breaks MY heart knowing he's hurting. Ugh...I'm ready for this round of teething to be over. One tooth has broken the surface, #2 is about to, and #3 is just now forming the huge bump.
Everyone keeps giving me tips on what to do to cure his ailments...everything from freezing a teething toy to a cold wash cloth to popsicles, fingers, you name it. I'm thinking about trying everything except letting him gum my fingers or Donovan's fingers. He already chews on his so...the fewer chewed up fingers, the better. Kristi, do you have any thoughts? You're the only other person I know with a baby besides my sister and she suggested the washcloth, popsicles, and frozen teething ring.
Besides Caelan's teeth, things are going well with us. I still feel as though I never see Donovan and that's partly because of our school/work schedules. By the time I get home from work, I'm so pooped that all I want to do is climb in bed and let my feet rest. All Donovan wants to do when he gets home is eat, play X Box and play with Caelan. I don't mind at all that those are the things he wishes to do but sometimes, I just wish that we'd go to bed at the same time or wake up at the same time or SOMETHING so that he and I can spend time together. This past weekend, I was off work so I spent LOTS of time with him and I think it spoiled me. I didn't want to go to work today and I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I do however need to earn a living to support my family.
We got Donovan's car back from the shop. $1100 later, its in tip top shape. His AC is functioning again, his oil sending unit is fixed, washer fluid pump was replaced, his new brakes are great! I think that the AC alone was worth the $1100 it took to fix the whole sh'bang.
Here's a little update. I dyed my hair this funkie neon orangish reddish color. But since it was so bright, its faded a LOT. If anyone wants to see photos, I have some I can email! Let me know.
Okay guys...its 11:00 and I need some shut eye. I hope to start updating more often but...with Caelan crankie as he is, who knows!
