My Weekend
So I bailed on work last week and went out to celebrate with Mish. What kind of friend would I be if I missed her birthday?
Needless to say, it was an excellent birthday for her. And my boyfriend was surprisingly good about missing work for her birthday. I guess he understood the bond of sisterhood. We ended up clubbing in London after his classes... he tagged along, and we crashed at his friend's place. Overall a fun night. I'm glad he and Mish set aside their differences for the night.
My goodness, the bars there are so much nicer than home. The music, crowd, all of it. I think I need to go there more often! I felt so old though! A lot of the bargoers, I don't think they were much older than 20ish. I'm a veteran by comparison. I guess all university students! We went to this bar called Up on Carling. They have this cool water display outside in the smoking/patio area. Pretty neat, eh?
The rest of my weekend was basically all Mish. She threw not one, not two, but THREE birthday parties!! I'm pretty partied out now. I actually woke up not too long ago. I'm just really glad that I don't have to work until tomorrow. How were everyone else's weekends??
