so it ends

I can't believe my time here in Oxford is about to be over. Tonight I watched Rent with my friends Aoife and Antoinette (and Aoife's little bro Gavin). We said our goodbyes and I'm left feeling kind of sad. I'll see Aoife for lunch tomorrow before she and her brother head to London and eventually back to Ireland for summer holiday. Nette's busy tomorrow, but we're going to keep in touch.

They bought ice cream from G&D's and it was AMAZINGLY good. Now I'm left with essay one of two before I'm DONE with the work from this place. No will left to work at all really. Ugh...I'm starting to get all emotional for this place. I've got to stop thinking about the next time I'll see them or if I'll see them.

Gotta live it up. Grant my energy and enthusiasm. I so can't wait for Italy. I'm also ready to be back stateside with my family, and back to my new home and all the challenges and blessings that will bring. So if there were an appropriate ice cream metaphor for my existence right now, it'd be a very complex swirl of varying flavors. All of them go together well, but at first it can be a real sensory overload for your tastebuds.

Wow, gotta get off this emotional roller coaster so I can get what I need to get done. :(
